Who we are
Lock & Clean provides cleaning, linen and property-care services to short-let owners. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: hello@lockandclean.com.
What we collect and why
Owners and enquiries: name, contact details, property addresses and access details, to quote, deliver and invoice our services.
Booking calendars: the calendar links you give us contain stay dates; we use them only to schedule cleans and show your bookings to you. We do not receive guests’ contact details from them.
Photos: taken in your property to record each clean and any damage. They are not used for marketing without your written permission.
Job applicants: the details in your application, to consider you for work, kept for up to 12 months with your consent.
Who processes it for us
Our scheduling, photos and owner app run on BedsReady, which stores data for us under a processing agreement. Our website and its forms are hosted by Vercel and Supabase. Card payments are handled by Stripe. Email runs on Google Workspace.
Cookies and analytics
If you say yes when the website asks, we use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages help hosts and which ads or posts brought them, and whether a quote or job application was sent. It stores cookies in your browser and Google processes the data for us. We don’t send your name, email or phone number to Google, and we don’t use it for advertising. If you say no, nothing is loaded. To change your answer, clear this site’s cookies and data in your browser and you’ll be asked again.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it or object to its use. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
