Edinburgh’s August festivals fill the city for weeks: back-to-back changeovers, often on the same day. We plan the rota and linen from June.

Busy times in Edinburgh
When short lets fill up
Closes, common stairs and key safes round the corner: in the Old Town and New Town we come on foot with linen bags, not a van.
Hogmanay and the winter
New Year stays are short and busy, and the 1 January check-outs need the same care as any other day.

Rugby weekends and stadium concerts bring a wave of one- and two-night stays across the west of the city.

How quickly will you reply?
We’ll reply within the hour, 7am–7pm. We call or text you to confirm the time, or tell you straight away if we can’t make it.
How much does an urgent clean cost?
The usual turnover price for your property plus £40 for the urgent call-out. You see the total before you send the request.
What if you can’t make it in time?
Then we tell you straight away and nothing is charged.
Do you do urgent cleans during the festivals?
We take urgent requests all year, but in August the rota is at its fullest, so we confirm each one by phone before anything is charged.
And for every other turnover? Book cleaning.
